Why I chose South Korea: To be honest, my first choice when picking countries was Japan but was taken so South Korea is my second choice. Although I do not know much about South Korea, I am still interested in their culture. One of the things that I like is the food that they have. That is why whenever I go out eat, I would not mind eating at a Korean restaurant. Another thing that I like is their music pop culture. I feel like their pop groups over there is more interesting than over her in America. Since I am a pc gamer, I like to play a lot of MMORPGs and a lot of them are made by Korean companies. I think a lot of what I said contributed to why I picked South Korea.
Hello Craig! I appreciate that you included many reasons for your choice of South Korea. Even though you did not get your first choice, I am glad that you express interest in many aspects of South Korean culture. I look forward to reading even more details in your next blog post!

I like how you were being honest on why you chose South Korea as your country. Honestly, I do not know a lot about South Korea myself, all I can recognize South Korea for is probably for their K-POP. I think that as you post more I’ll possibly get to know more about the culture of South Korea and would not just recognize it or identify it as K-POP there is more to their culture that I do not know about, but would like to. The only other thing that I personally take interest of in South Korea would probably be their beauty products from watching Youtube videos, but as I mentioned I would like to know more about their history and what is going on in there today. As I read your “basic info” about South Korea I just noticed that they have multiple established religions which is pretty cool that they have variety. I hope you get a lot out of making these blog posts and that they aren’t boring to you. South Korea in general sounds very interesting since they are obviously close to North Korea, I wonder what it is like being next to that as South Koreans. Hopefully we get assigned a prompt that we can relate food to so you can have a chance to look more into the different types of food that are popular in South Korea. I agree with you I feel like pop culture in America is kind of overrated and I feel like I have seen almost everything and there is not a lot of variety.
